Key Features & Benefits
1. Coarse-grit carbide material
-
Constructed from high-grade carbide for durability, long life and efficient removal of hard product, while maintaining sharpness.
-
A coarse cutting surface means you can reduce session time when removing thick layers of gel/enhancement, which adds value in a busy salon environment.
-
Using a coarse grit means you’re removing quickly , ideal for the “bulk removal” phase before finer smoothing.
2. Sphere shape (“Vortex Sphere”)
-
The spherical head allows for multi-angle removal: you can access sidewalls, free edges and undersides without needing multiple bit shapes.
-
The smooth rounded form minimizes snagging and may provide smoother transitions from thick builder gel to natural nail or underlying gel layer.
-
Ideal for when you need to “debulk” quickly but still maintain control.
3. Suitability for both right- and left-handed use
-
The product notes explicitly mention it’s suitable for both right and left-handed techs.
-
That helps in a training environment, where you may have students who are left-handed or who work on both hands.
4. Professional standard / trade use
-
Being included in your Magnetic Nail Design line of accessories reinforces that this is a professional tool rather than an entry-level generic bit.
-
Perfect for techs who already use your Magnetic products and want matching-quality accessories.

Recommended Use & Tips for Nail Technicians
-
Use this bit only for the removal / re-balance step (bulk reduction of product). Once you’ve removed the bulk, switch to a medium or fine bit (or buffer) or a hand file 180 grit, to refine and smooth before applying fresh gel or polish.
-
Maintain proper speed and pressure: because it’s coarse, excessive speed or too much pressure can cause heat / friction and risk damaging the natural nail plate.
-
Use with correct e-file settings: set your efile to a moderate speed (e.g., 20 000–30 000 rpm depending on the efile’s strength ) and use light feathering motions rather than staying in one spot.
-
Clean and disinfect as per your normal protocol (especially in a salon/training environment). Carbide bits are reusable but still require safe handling.
-
Coarse bits remove quickly, but natural nail integrity must be maintained, so monitor for thin nail plates, heat sensation or discomfort.
-
Ideal when prepping for re-application. After removal with the sphere bit, you can proceed with your usual Prep & Wipe, primer, and base gel layering.
