Gelpolish Course aka. Shellac/UV Polish

Gelpolish is known as UV Polish, Gelosophy, Shellac, Hybrid Manicure, Two Week Manicure etc. This individual course we will start with an explanation about the different types and then begin with manicure theory, focusing on topics such as the natural nail structure, hygienic procedures and manicure table set up.

We will work with professional products by Magnetic Nail Design, but if you already have some products and equipment, you can bring it with you for evaluation and advice.

During the course you will become familiar and practice with natural nail preparation. This is a foundation for Gelpolish  and for any other future nail styling systems. You will practice, get to know and try all the base coats and top coats that are available. The practice is intended to provide you with a complete understanding of Gelpolish manicure procedure.

By the end of the training you will be able to perform Gelpolish manicure , yet if you will need any further assistance you can contact me or any of the Magnetic trainers for advice. We will finish the day with basic nail art practice and certificate.

During the day you will be able to try many products, not only those in your kit , also if you want, you will be able to purchase any additional tools or products on the day in our shop.

Product kit included: Yes (Base & Top, Primer, Color of your choice, Nail File 220/180)

Requirements: No previous nail education is necessary, please arrive with one or both own hands with natural nails. If you will practice on a model, please make sure the model has no artificial nail covering. Preferably not bitten or distressed natural nails.

7. Types of Gelpolish colours and their differences (transparent, covering, reflective, mixing colours etc.)
8. Natural nail preparation practice : manual vs. e-file
9. Gelpolish application practice – own hand or model
10. Perfect photo shoot, tips and tricks
11. Removal and refill manual vs. e-file
12. Basic nail art (glitters, foils, stamping, chromes, pigments etc.)
