E-File – Electric File Course

An e-file is a well known tool for faster and more precise work with nail enhancements. This course is for anyone who attended at least one of the previous courses : Gelpolish, gel, acrylic, Powergel  or BIAB.

Product kit included: Yes (Kick off III – professional nail file, 3 bits of your choice)

If you already own an e-file , you can bring it and we will test it. Most cheap electric files have vibrations which are damaging the natural nails and are not suitable for working. You will compare cheaper product with a premium quality and you will see the difference.

Duration: 6 hours

The student can practice on theirs own nails or on a model. Preferably is to have a 2-3 week nail growth with either, Gelpolish, BIAB, acrylic or gel enhancements. That way you will be able to become familiar with all possible e-file bits, test them and choose the best for your work.

We will start the course with an e-file manual, does and don’ts around the main station and hand piece. We will compare different types of e-file available on the market. You will practice correct posture and the hand piece handing to ensure the perfect e-manicure performances.

At the end of the course you will receive an accredited certificate.

Training schedule:

1. E-file manual
2. Type of e-file bits (diamond, carbide, ceramic, sanding bands)
3. Health and safety procedures
4. Bits disinfection, storage and hygienic practices
5. Cuticle and nail prep bits practice (standard e-file manicure and deep/Russian manicure, combo/hybrid manicure)
6. Learn about different skin types and how to work with them
7. Refill and shaping bits practice
8. Acrylic or Gel, Gelpolish and BIAB removal
9. E-file and advanced nail art discussion/demo
